Cakes & Culinary Creations, Cake Affairs Become One Wedding, Specialty Cake Company
HOUSTON—Two of Houston’s leading wedding and special occasions bakers have merged into one organization, taking the superior aspects of each company to create Houston’s foremost chef-inspired cake company. Cakes & Culinary Creations and Cake Affairs now is operating as Cake Affairs & Culinary Creations. Amber Fraser, founder and president of Cakes & Culinary Creations, will lead the new organization as president and CEO while John Kmiecik, president of Cake Affairs, will be retiring from the specialty cake business.
“Cakes & Culinary Creations certainly has been enhanced by the experiences of Cake Affairs and the new company gives Houston brides, event and party planners, and the individual looking for a unique special occasion cake the chance to work with a company that offers boutique-style cakes customized to each clients specific ideas and requests,” explained Fraser. “Every cake we design is formatted from a culinary point of view by our executive chef who leads our culinary team in every aspect of cake design and flavor. Founded in 2003, Cakes & Culinary Creations is one of the fastest growing wedding and specialty cake companies in the greater Houston area. Cake Affairs has been a Houston institution for more than 20 years, designing thousands of cakes from its three Houston locations.
